Magnum Opus

Hey all,
I was asked to be one of the theme artist in this upcoming Square One show. Please come out if you can. Square One host these shows twice a year and it's def something that should not be missed. Last show we had over 750 people that attended. If you haven't been to the Ritz or to a Square One event you're in for a treat. We have 2 side rooms, and 1 main room with a stage. There is a bar in each room, great artwork, and live performances thru out the night. My theme piece will be located in the Grand Foyer which is the main hallway thru the front doors. I also have some other work I'll be showing, either in the entrance or one of the rooms. I added a preview of my theme piece...it wasn't done yet in these pic. Post more later. Check it out! See you all there!

Holiday Cards!

So I officially posted my Holiday cards! Get them while supplies last. I mad 80 of them and even screen printed matching envelopes. They were not made with a press or a screen printing machine. I individually screen printed every card myself with a StencilPro sheet. Took some time and dedication, but they came out great! I love them. I all ready had people asking about them and I only have a limited amount so I posted it and it's first come first serve.

12 x 12 prints.

So here are some of my 12 x 12 prints. I sold the Uni-brow print at one of my shows. And I have them available as cards on my etsy site. I wanted to work with some bright fun colors. I like to keep a sketch book of random ideas. I just write phrases or doodle little sketches and later I when I want to work on a new piece I flip thru my idea book and create. I would love to put some of them on shirts. Maybe one day. I have a few other ideas I want to add to this group.

Vintage Find-Shakespeare's Complete Works 1800's

So on one of my many Garage Sale/ Estate sale hunt I cam across this great set. They were selling a ton of books, looks like they own a book store and maybe getting rid of some stock. I hope they meant to have these out, cause they are amazing. It a complete set of Shakespeare's writings, There's a signature on the inside with the date Nov. 9th 1879. It has beautiful gold foil on the cover and binding. All the pages seem to be in place and the binding in tack though the cover on a few is a little detached. I paid $1 for each book and I'm curious to see what they are worth.

Each book has this amazing gold leaf design on the cover and the sides also have gold leaf text.

Books set of 4
-Shakespeare's Complete Works - Illustrated
-Shakespeare - Tragedies
-Shakespeare - Comedies
-Shakespeare -Histories

There are many pages filled with beautiful illustrations such as this and they all have that protective sheet bonded into the book I guess to preserve it over the years

I couldn't find a date as to when the book was made but the signature inside was
dated Nov. 19 1879
